Never play with chainsaws by chocolatehomicide Never play with chainsaws by chocolatehomicide
I wanted to try out a new style, and I came up with this. Its very heavily Burton inspired, as I'm sure you can tell. Also, if you look at her stump and then at the arm on the ground, you'll see that there seems more arm missing than whats pictured. What happened to that missing segment of arm? Did someone take it? Did she eat it? Did I draw this and not realize my mistake until it was too late? YOU DECIDE

I really like the character style and dress. Nice line work. The face is well done.

I really love the style! Burton actually wasn't the first to come to mind for me, but :iconamihedgehog:'s older work (which I was a GIANT fan of a long time ago; I'm surprised I remembered her username).

Despite all the morbid stuff going on, this is really cute, haha. :XD:  I love her dress and those ridiculous platforms.
I'm always excited when you post, because your lolita work is so much different than the majority of supersweet cutsy stuff lol. It has some kind of gruesome story or twist behind it.

Oh, I've never seen her art before! She's very talented, I love the detail in her work.

Thank you so much. I always love to combine cute innocent themes with the macabre. In a way, I find that the contrast of aesthetics makes it even more disturbing. I suppose I don't really mind the super cutesy themes in most lolita art, but after a while it seems to get so repetitive and unoriginal, you know? I'm not saying it can't be completely adorable, but seeing the same exact themes over and over again can get so dull. (thats why I like things like your teatime picture so much =D. It puts an interesting twist on those old themes)

And of course, I can never resist ridiculous platform shoes. I wish they hadn't gone out of style in real lolita fashion. Im not digging this whole low-heels and teaparty shoes trend so much =/

I agree; I love cutexcreepy stuff because, like you said, the contrast makes it even more disturbing. c:

I wish I could wear platforms. I feel too tall for just standard heels, haha. I don't understand why all these short girls still go for the low-heel shoes; if I was their height, I'd wear nothing but heels and platform shoes.

Haha, personally I don't care if a person is 6 foot 10! Platforms for everyone, I say!

She's using the spare bone to wire her mouth shut for extra pity...the rest was swallowed by mistake. All that is why her face is puckered

Interesting theory. Although, I wonder how someone could wire their mouth shut with an arm bone...

How does one string the toughest wood to make a bow? Sheer will...and I can see she has it
